What does OSS stand for?

Return to Frequently Asked Questions

OSS was created from the original Office of Strategic Services, which evolved into the Central Intelligence Agency [CIA], the first U.S. Military Intelligence Unit. Our firms foundation and current structure are led by Military Intelligence Agents experienced in cryptography, as well as battlefield and strategic intelligence collection. Hence the carryover. We also keep the heritage alive through the use of our logo, the Sphinx, which is also the original symbol of U.S. Military Intelligence. For more information, visit OSS Academy® History.
